We're less than a month away from the launch of Marvel's Wolverine, the next major superhero action title from Insomniac Games, and it's going to be tough to avoid it during this period.
Not only have there been a handful of previews lately, but it seems Sony and Marvel are firing up the marketing machine in a pretty major way.
Our first glimpse at this is an advertisement for the game on 3D billboards in New York City. Take a look, bub:
I've no doubt this is just the tip of the iceberg, too — this is PlayStation's biggest game of 2026, so we're going to see plenty more fun marketing beats like this in the run up to launch.
On the PS Blog, in a post about the platform's new 'It Happens on PS5' promo, there are some interesting details about a global campaign for Wolverine.

"With Marvel’s Wolverine launching on September 15, players may encounter game-inspired experiences, including Marvel’s Wolverine challenge pods in France and a Berserker Mode activation in Australia. Players in the UK, Canada, and Spain may also find larger-than-life Sentinel head installations, with other locations celebrating memorable moments from fan-favorite PS5 games."
It sounds like there are various approaches in different territories, but what we can take away from this is that Sony's going to be pushing Marvel's Wolverine hard over the next few weeks. I'm sure we'll see glimpses at some of these promos on social media.
Anyway, it's not long to go before we're all chopping up baddies into lots of little bits. Are you excited for Marvel's Wolverine? Tell us in the comments section below.
