Tanya Hennessy has married her long-term partner Thomas Poole in a stunning Byron Bay ceremony. 

The beloved comedian, 38, shared a gallery of images to Instagram on Thursday to celebrate her special day at award-winning beachfront resort, Elements of Byron Resort & Spa.

Tanya looked every inch the blushing bride in an exquisite off the shoulder gown that featured a dramatic train and flowing veil by Australian fashion label KYHA Studios.

She completed the look with statement earrings and carried an exquisite bouquet of roses to say 'I do' to her partner of almost 10 years Thomas.

Tanya wore her jet-black hair elegantly styled back off her famous visage, and complemented the look with a timeless make-up palette by celebrity beautician Sarah Laidlaw. 

Meanwhile, Thomas cut a dashing figure in a black suit paired with a matching bow tie and added to the look with a white rose in his left lapel. 

The lovebirds looked like they were on cloud nine as they shared one of the happiest moments of their life.

Tanya captioned the gallery with some heartfelt words and was unable to resist cracking a joke. 

'Save these pics, cause this is the most elegant I'll ever be. Ever,' she began. 

'[Designer Kyha Scott] embroidered my Pops handwriting on my veil. My Pop always said to me, 'Stop and smell the roses' 'cause I move so fast. 

She continued: 'This day I stopped and smelt the roses and I'm so grateful for my life, friends and Tommy P.'

It wasn't long before Tanya was inundated with well wishes from her celebrity friends.

'The most stunning bride I've ever seen. LOVE YOUUU!!' wrote Love Island Australia star Erin Barnett.

'HEAVEN!!! So much love to you both,' wrote TV veteran Jessica Rowe.   

'Congratulations, added singer Ricki-Lee Coulter.

Rhonda Burchmore, Bec Judd and Steph Claire Smith also joined the chorus of congratulations.

Tanya and long-term partner Thomas have been dating for around nine years and have lived together for a number of years.

In August 2021, Tanya announced their engagement, revealing at the time that he had proposed sometime before, but they had kept the news private.

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star posted a photo of herself sporting her giant engagement ring while cuddling up to her new fiancé.

Her ring featured a huge morganite jewel in the centre. A morganite is a semi-precious stone which has a unique clarity and often comes in a soft pink hue.

'I'm going to be the least subtle bride alive,' she cheekily captioned the Instagram snap.

In 2018, she credited Thomas for her success as she gave a candid insight into their relationship.

'I reckon I probably wouldn't be here without him,' she told Stellar Magazine at the time.

'That man has escalated me to a point where I feel fearless in creating because he's always going to be there if things fall apart.'
