I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans have slammed the show following Brittany Hockley's shock elimination on Thursday.

The podcast host, 36, and Ellie Cole both narrowly missed out on a place in Sunday night's finale as they were sent home in the final elimination of the 2024 series.

Viewers have taken to social media to call out the show for failing to display much of Brittany's humour that her fellow contestants raved about.

'Brittany's humour must have ended up on the cutting room floor because her humour wasn't shown,' one user tweeted.

'"Brittany’s one of the funniest people I know" Channel 10 should have shown us some of those bits then,' added another.

Tristan MacManus said of his campmate: 'Brittany is one of the funniest people I know. She's quick on absolutely everything.'

The final three IAC contestants were also revealed on Thursday's episode as Callum Hole, Tristan MacManus and Skye Wheatley all made it through to Sunday's grand final.

Fans took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share their shock after fan favourites Ellie and Brittany were eliminated from the South African jungle. 

They wrote: 'Farewell Brittany and Ellie. You were fantastic'; 'Through this show I've learned that Ellie is a badass and a sweetheart.'

'The third through should have been Ellie for sure'; 'Damn I wanted Ellie in top three'; 'Ellie robbed;' 'Ellie gone I'm heartbroken.'

However, other fans also shared their delight over the final three as they shared their predictions on who they think will be crowned the 2024 winner.

They tweeted: 'I NEED Tristan to win, however i'm expecting Callum or Skye to…'; 'CALLUM AND SKYE AND TRISTAN IS THE BEST POSSIBLE TOP 3 i am so pleased with that result';

'All of these celebrities deserve to win'; 'Tristan on making the top 3 'I feel like they're reading from the wrong list' No, we love you mate! fans for years and years here;'

'Yay! My Save votes actually worked this time!'; 'I'm so happy!!!! Callum and Tristian are in the #ImACelebrityAU grand finale!!!!!'

In their exit interviews, Brittany and Ellie were both overcome with emotion as they reflected on their stints in the South African jungle.

Brittany revealed which aspect of living in the jungle she found the hardest, as she insisted it wasn't the grueling conditions as people might expect. 

Breaking down in tears, Brittany told hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris of her jungle stint: 'It's a once in a lifetime experience [...] you can't put words, yeah. 

'I've travelled the world and lived rougher than this, which helped me a lot. For me, the environment was easy, the hardest thing was the food and being away from family,' she added.

Meanwhile, Ellie gushed over getting to know the 11 other celebrities and told how she has always wanted to appear on I'm A Celebrity.

'I've always wanted to do a show like this, it tests you in an environment you'll never find in the outside world,' she emotionally said.

'To be able to share all of those experiences and get to know each other so well - and get to know yourself much more - is amazing.'

Brittany had been competing on the show in a bid to raise funds for Rize Up Australia, while Ellie had selected cancer charity Challenge as her cause.

The final three celebrities - Skye, Callum and Tristan - also all shared their shock upon making it to the grand final.

The 2024 winner will finally be revealed on Sunday night, with public voting now open, after a month-long stint in the South African jungle.
