Must the phone be rooted?

Would'nt have needed all this hassle to get g-wallet, revolut and other high security apps to work if it werent for them to detect root after installing global rom

Not so. Phone is not rooted when flashing Xiaomi.eu ROM. They detect bootloader unlock.

Prerequisites​

Part 1: Install KernelSU Next​

( repeat same tutorial we previously did with magisk this time with KernelSU )

1. Copy init_boot.img to your phone ( use same init_boot.img from the original ROM (unflashed) )
2. Install the KernelSU Next APK on your phone.
   • https://github.com/KernelSU-Next/KernelSU-Next
3. Open KernelSU Next → tap Install → select the init_boot.img file → let it create a patched image.
4. Copy the patched init_boot.img back to your PC.
5. Flash it,
   For the noobs : Power down your phone
   volume down + power button 10 sec
   in ADB type " Fastboot flash init_boot (file source here, just drag and drop the file onto cmd ) "
6. After reboot, open KernelSU Next — it should show Working.
7. Go to KernelSU Next → Superuser tab → allow root access for Shell / com.android.shell. And BankID
8. Reboot

Part 2: Install Magic Mount Metamodule​

KernelSU Next does not mount modules by default. Without a metamodule, no modules will work.

1. Download the Magic Mount metamodule.
   • https://modules.kernelsu.org/module/meta-mm/
2. Open KernelSU Next → Modules → Install from storage → select the zip.
3. Reboot.

Part 3: Fix Revolut & Play Integrity​

Install these modules through KernelSU Next → Modules → Install from storage. Install all four, then reboot once.

1. ZygiskNext— standalone Zygisk implementation

2. Integrity Box— Play Integrity fix toolkit

3. TEESimulator— key attestation spoofing

4. Tricky Store Addon— target list for banking apps

5. Reboot.
6. After reboot, open Integrity Box → tap the first icon to auto-configure.
7. If any banking app still doesn't work, go to Integrity Box → Toolkit → Bank Mode.

Xiaomi 17 Pro max, Follow the step with three integrity Pass but Bank apps still detected root.
Have tried to remove fingerprint and clear GMS with no luck.

They will suggest you to lock bootloader and format data partition

For Google what? Play Store?

Yes, but for full compatibility with government id app like BankID etc. you need SU. One way or another u'll end up needing root.

Damn Google. It seems like they won. I'm not excited about all the tinkering every now and the to keep apps working like they used to. It's unlikely that I'll ever use another custom ROM again if I get a new phone.

at this moment, they loose. Every protection from their side is bypassed.

Today my Security State changed. Now i dont have any integrity anymore. All 3 points fail on Integrity Check. Does Any other have the same issue?

The thing is, Integrity Box Shows me all passed but the Phone on external App shows Bad results. I am not Sure what happend. I just noted, an German Identity Check app dont work for me. So i do another Check by my Integrity app with bad results. Integrity Box everything is fine

Yeah i made it too again. Not with your guide here but with a combination of the two guides that are here in the forum. Now i have most apps running again but google wallet still dont work.

Google Playstore say certified. Integrity Checker give full passed reply. Wallet say nope . Deleted all Play Services and Playstore data, uninstalled Wallet and installed again. Actually i dont get it work again. Too bad

Thanks for all your Screenshots. In General my device get certified actually. I got all 3 checkboxes on integrity check. I also can start Revolut and download all Apps in Google Playstore. Some Apps like "Cube Solver" don´t show up if the device is not certified. But actually work.

Its simple Google Wallet dont work. Maybe google block my account for adding Cards or something actually. I noticed, if i delete Google Play Services Data on my works WIFI, i dont get any interity. So i think the IP of my work's Internet Provider got blocked too.
If i am using Mobile Internet, i get the device showed certified in Google Play Store (Settings). If i start the Wallet App the first time it looks like on your Screenshot in Google Wallet too. "Phone meets security requirements" show up in Settings. If i try to add an Card it changes to "Phone not matching Security requirements" (Translated from German, dont know if the wording matches ).

I think i have to wait a few days and try again. Thanks for all your help. I actually give up and try again in a few days/weeks. I can use my physical Credit Card for Payments or Paypal atm.
