While Selling Sunset star Mary Bonnet will no longer be a part of the show for this upcoming season, she recently spoke out about her feud with costar Chelsea Lazkani.

As fans of the show know, they argued over a disagreement during a co-listed open house in season eight and a flower delivery in season nine.

“It had been very, very bad,” Mary, 45, told Us Weekly about the backlash she received due to her feud with Chelsea, 33. “My whole world was turned upside down.”

She revealed she was “fighting production the entire season” regarding how her issues with Chelsea would be shown on camera.

“I could see what they were doing,” she said. “I was like, ‘Don’t you dare allow that narrative to start or even creep in there.’ Because that is the furthest thing from the truth and I won’t be a part of that.”

Once she saw the final edit for season nine, Mary noted she couldn’t “believe” what production did.

“They cut out a lot of stuff,” she explained. “It looked like I was overreacting to some stuff but my house had just gotten broken into and I had a lack of sleep, because of the robberies every single night in our neighborhood. I was terrified and just emotional from everything.”

While season nine began with the pair not speaking, once Mary’s house was burglarized, Chelsea sent her flowers and a note, which Mary questioned the timing and intention of.

“I probably did overreact to some stuff but there were actual things that happened that no one knows about. I’m not going to even say because I don’t think it’s good for society and I don’t think it’s good for anybody,” Mary shared. “There’s a lot that happened that people don’t know but I have never been turned on like that after the show.”

“It’s something that to my core is the opposite of who I am and it is what I despise,” she added. “It eased up a lot but it was [ongoing] for about three months and it was hard to even leave the house. I had to turn off all comments.”

She also noted the feud had an impact on her career.

“I lost a bunch of brand deals and I lost all kinds of stuff because of the negativity. I lost clients,” she spilled. “People had to ask me to remove myself from previous listings because they were getting harassed. And it was all based on a false narrative.”

Mary shared that her costars not having her back also had a negative effect on her.

“They didn’t want them to talk about it. Because the cast was going to do a joint statement [and it was shut down],” she elaborated.

Now that she’s no longer a part of the show, Mary insisted she doesn’t “go out and seek attention,” including on social media platforms.

“If there’s something I want to promote then great,” she added. “But otherwise I don’t need to go on social media just to cause problems or just to get views,” she . “I couldn’t care less. I don’t want to do that and I will never do that. I’d rather just disappear into the night than ever become that. But to each their own. Just don’t hurt me in the process or anybody else.”
