Celeste Barber put on a sophisticated display as she joined Sarah Roberts at the Sydney premiere of her new movie Runt on Saturday.

The comedian, 42, who stars as Susie Shearer in the family drama, made sure to turn heads as she stepped out on the red carpet at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter.

She showed off her elegant sense of style in a pastel yellow suit, made up of a sheer vest top, an oversized blazer and smart straight leg trousers.

Celeste added a few extra inches to her frame with a pair of white pointed heels and kept her accessories simple with a gold necklace.

She accentuated her stunning features with a high-glamour make-up palette and slicked her brunette bob back away from her face.

The actress was joined on the red carpet by her Runt co-star Sarah, 39, who is starring as Gretel Patel in the wholesome family release.

The former Home and Away star, who is the ex-wife of James Stewart, put on a very leggy display in a stylish white mini dress for the premiere.

She gave herself some extra height with a pair of translucent slip-on heels and styled her chocolate tresses in loose waves over her shoulders.

Sarah appeared to be in jovial spirits as she was all smiles while stepping out solo on the red carpet, before joining her Runt co-stars to pose for group photographs.

It comes after Sarah's ex James went public with his relationship their Home and Away co-star Ada Nicodemou earlier this year.

Their romance emerged on Anzac Day after James and Sarah finalised their divorce in March of this year, just over four years after their July 2019 wedding.

Sarah and Celeste's sweet new film follows ten-year-old Annie Shearer (Lily LaTorre) and her stray dog Runt as they attempt to win an Agility Course Championship.

The determined child is desperate to win the coveted title at the Krumpets Dog Show in London to save her family's farm from drought and misery.

The movie, slated for release on September 19, also stars the likes of Jai Courtney, Jack Thompson, Matt Day and Joel Jackson, among others.

Elsewhere at the premiere, Real Housewives of Sydney star Sally Obermeder looked as stylish as ever as she stepped out with her daughter Elyssa, seven.

The TV personality, 51, looked effortlessly chic in an off-the-shoulder black top, which she styled with washed-out wide-leg jeans.

She completed her look with a pair of heeled sandals and carried her essentials in a brown handbag.

Sally fixed a pair of sunglasses on her head as she wrapped her arm around her youngest daughter Elyssa while posing on the red carpet.

As well as Elyssa, Sally also shares another daughter, Annabelle, 12, with her husband Marcus - who she married back in 2001.

Ione Skye was also among the guest list and the actress looked elegant in an iridescent green mini dress with puffed sleeves.

The River's Edge star, 54, completed her look with a pair of white heels and appeared to be in jovial spirts as she flashed a huge smile.

Channel 10 presenter Narelda Jacobs also put on a loved-up display with her new wife Karina Natt at the glitzy event.

The 10News First Perth broadcaster, 48, cut a stylish figure in a patterned blue co-ord set, made up of a shirt and loose fitting trousers.

She kept comfortable in a pair of white trainers as she sweetly walked the red carpet hand-in-hand with her wife Karina, who she exchanged vows with last month.

Karina looked equally sophisticated in a white shirt and patterned cream and brown jeans, which she teamed with a pair of trainers. 

The couple tied the knot in a fun-filled ceremony in Sydney in early August, just 18 months after they went on their first date. 

The pair said 'I do' in front of an archway constructed by Indigenous designer Teagan Murdock from Ngumpie Weaving in a nod to Narelda's heritage.

Narelda and her new wife each opted for white ensembles, with the TV star choosing a fitted gown with fur accents from Aussie luxury label Zhivago. 

Meanwhile, Karina looked incredible in a Zhivago gown as the couple exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones and friends.

Among the celebrity guests were MasterChef Australia star Melissa Leong and celebrity chef Kylie Kwong.

Also in attendance were comedian Luke McGregor and his wife Dr Amy Thunig-McGregor.

Karina is the chief of staff for South Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young. 

Narelda, who was previously in a long-term relationship with filmmaker Stevie Cruz-Martin, debuted her relationship with Karina in early 2023.

She revealed the pair went on their first date in February that year, going public when they had been an item for just four weeks.

Karina is the chief of staff for South Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young.
