Celeste Barber has never been one to shy away from making fun of others at her expense.

And on Tuesday, the 39-year-old parodied the 1990s dance craze, The Macarena, in a hilarious video.

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, 27, has released a revamped version of the Spanish song, titled La Macarena 2021, in collaboration with Vogue, and it features a slew of models dancing to the song in the clip. 

For her take on it, the Australian comedian showed off dance moves, wearing a short hot pink dress with sparkling knee high boots.

Celeste's routine left a lot to be desired in contrast to the sleek and choreographed steps of the models.

She also did not feature the song in her video, and instead did her own version of it at a fast tempo.

'I've always been that girl at the club,' she joked in the caption of her post.

Celeste's funny take on posts by actress' and models on Instagram has helped her open doors for her comedy career.

She has had sold out shows at Sydney Comedy and Fringe festivals and written a bestselling book, Challenge Accepted.

Most recently, Celeste has done a collaboration limited-edition lingerie collection with Bras N Things, saying she designed her range to be 'something comfy, sexy and fun'. 

She added: 'I absolutely loved working so closely with the Bras N Things team on this collaboration.

'On day one I came in totally pumped with ideas and a bag of my favourite undies and bras – some of which I had bought from Bras N Things because I love this brand.'
