MOSCOW, August 21. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steven Witkoff and the US leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner have not confirmed plans to visit Kiev, the Ukrainian TSN news agency reported, citing political sources.

The two Americans had reportedly intended to visit Kiev for Ukraine's Independence Day, which is observed on August 24.

Earlier, a source told TASS that Witkoff and Kushner could visit Kiev and Moscow by the end of August. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that President Vladimir Putin was ready to receive the US leader's envoys again, though the question was what proposals they would bring to the Kremlin.
