The C10M is a wall-mounted TV built around TCL's SQD-Mini LED display technology, and the standout feature is just how thin it is. The whole body stays 3.99cm deep, letting it sit flush against a wall for what TCL calls a wallpaper-like look.

TCL just launched the C10M, a new wall-mounted TV built around its SQD-Mini LED display technology. What really stands out here is the design. The whole body stays 3.99cm thick, not just the bezels, so instead of jutting out from the wall the way most TVs do, it sits flush against it. TCL is calling this a True Wallpaper design.

Behind that thin panel sits SQD, short for Super Quantum Dot. Rather than leaning on standard RGB Mini LED, it optimizes the screen layer and the backlight together, which TCL says cuts down on the color banding and distortion you sometimes get across different kinds of content. That gets the C10M to 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut.

On the backlight side, there are 2,304 local dimming zones, and TCL describes the control here as one pearl per zone, meaning each zone brightens or dims on its own. In practice, that should mean sharper contrast and more detail held onto in both the bright and dark parts of a scene, with an AI light-color co-control chip doing the processing work behind it.

TCL first showed its SQD-Mini LED tech off publicly late last year, on its flagship X11L Series TV.

Away from the screen, the C10M runs on a new generation TSR AI light and color control chip. That chip carries a quad-core CorteX-A73 CPU, an IMG CXM GPU, and 1.0 TOPS of NPU AI computing power, with a main frequency of up to 1.5 GHz. Memory comes in at 3GB of RAM alongside 64GB of internal storage.

For audio, TCL fitted the C10M with Onkyo Hi-Fi speakers that support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and the TV can also pair up with a soundbar for combined sound output. The whole unit runs TCL's LingKong System 3.0, which the company says comes free of boot-up ads.

Its software also has DeepSeek's Fuxi AI model built deep into the system. On the ports side, there's USB 3.0, USB 2.0, an Ethernet LAN port, and four HDMI 2.1 ports, two of which handle 4K at 150Hz and two that handle 4K at 60Hz. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth round out the connectivity. Pricing in China starts at 12,999 yuan, or around $1,800, for the 65-inch model, climbs to 15,999 yuan (roughly $2,370) for the 75-inch, and tops out at 19,999 yuan (roughly $2,960) for the 85-inch.

None of this SQD tech is brand new, though. TCL first showed it off late last year on its flagship X11L Series TV, which pushed things even further with up to 20,736 dimming zones, 10,000-nit peak brightness, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

TCL has folded SQD-Mini LED into several other TVs since then, too, including the Q7D Pro, the C7L, the T7M Pro, and the T7M Ultra. Pricing and availability vary by region, and TCL hasn't confirmed whether every one of these models will reach markets outside China.

I’ve been obsessed with tech for as long as I can remember, so much so that I’ve become the unofficial "tech support" for my entire family. Whether it’s fixing gadgets, explaining specs, or recommending the best buys, I love breaking down tech for everyday people. That passion led me to writing about tech. When I’m not testing gadgets or writing reviews, you’ll probably find me hiking or doom-scrolling car listings (still hunting for my first ride, wish me luck, lol).
