The time is NOW to file some municipal bankruptcies and impose some pension and benefit haircuts before these zealots control the federal judicial system. It’s understood that IF and WHEN that control comes about, helpful precedents will probably be challenged. However, by that time — when it arrives — the states and municipalities will be struggling financially so that even the DSA politicians will prefer paying their own salaries and perks rather than the pensions of prior and subsequent retirees.
