Applications are now opened for the IATSS Forum Leadership Program 2027 in Japan. The fully funded program is an excellent opportunity for talented and emerging leaders. To help participants understand each other, they will attend a participatory session. The 8-week course includes a Basic Lecture and Workshop on leadership. There is no application fees. All program related expenses will be covered by IATSS including airfare, accommodation and participation fees.

During the leadership course in Japan, participants will attend different seminars. These will be related to social studies, international relationships, politics, economics and culture. Participants will have site visits where they will observe real cases of Sustainable Development in Japan. During field study, they will learn directly from the experts. Moreover, they will get new ideas for further development of their countries.

At the end of  program, participants will study and conduct research in groups. Each group will have members from diverse nationalities, fields, and occupations. They will present practical solutions for sustainable development in Asia. By working in teams, participants will get a chance to improve their communication skills and develop interpersonal skills. After completing the leadership program 2027, participants will return to their home countries. They will implement the ideas from the program in their communities. • Candidates must have minimum 2 years of full-time professional job experience.
