Antonio de la Torre and Alexandra Jiménez headline a new six-part Spanish comedy series arriving on Netflix in October 2026.

A new Spanish-comedy series is making its way to Netflix on October 23, 2026: Fading Grandeur. The six-part comedy stars Antonio de la Torre as Don Leandro, a ruined marquis who dreams of restoring his reputation but must sell his decaying family home, which piques the interest of wealthy businesswoman Sofía Carrington, who may not be what she seems. Here’s everything we know about Fading Grandeur on Netflix.

Fading Grandeur is a 6-part upcoming Spanish Netflix Original comedy series created by Álvaro Fernández-Armero and Juan Cavestany; the pair previously worked together on Shame, and We’re Sorry for the Inconvenience. Alongside writing and directing the series, they are also executive producers on it with Alicia Yubero. Cuidado con el perro is the production studio behind the series.

Netflix has confirmed that Fading Grandeur will be released globally on October 23, 2026.

Netflix synopsis for the series reads:

Don Leandro, a ruined marquis who lives on appearances and dreams of being named a Grandee of Spain, sees only one way out of his financial disaster: selling his decaying family mansion in Madrid. The perfect opportunity seems to arise when the immensely wealthy businesswoman Sofía Carrington takes an interest in the property. But as the negotiations (and seductions) progress, it becomes clear that they are not who they appear to be.

Antonio de la Torre and Alexandra Jiménez are the series leads.

Antonio de la Torre plays Don Leandro. The actor has starred in two Netflix films: the dark comedy The Motive and the emotional drama The Endless Trench. He is best known for starring in films such as The Candidate, The Last Circus, and Marshland.

Alexandra Jiménez plays Conchi. The actress has starred in a handful of Netflix projects, which include 100 Meters, In Family I Trust, 53 Sundays, Go Team, and Harlan Coben’s The Innocent. She is best known for starring in films such as The Distances, Super Lopez, and the limited series The Zone.
