Chelsea are rarely ever too far away when it comes to transfer rumour-mill.

That said, the latest talk is that Xabi Alonso’s side are targeting a new striker - even though Joao Pedro has publicly declared his love for the club - while a scouting mission in South America is reportedly on the radar.

Chelsea are stepping up their scouting of Palmeiras’ academy as they look to identify promising Brazilian talent at an early stage.

According to Sport Witness, officials from Chelsea have been regularly attending Palmeiras matches over the past month, with particular focus on the U15 side. Their scouting has also extended to younger age groups, with both clubs monitoring players as young as U12.

Palmeiras have produced several high-profile talents, including Gabriel Jesus, Endrick, Vitor Reis and Estevao. With international transfer rules preventing the youngest players from moving to England immediately, Chelsea appear focused on getting ahead of the competition for future stars.

Chelsea have shown admiration for AC Milan striker Francesco Camarda.

Camarda is widely regarded as one of Europe's most promising teenage strikers, with the 18-year-old already making history in two different competitions for Milan.

He became the youngest player in Serie A history when making his Milan debut against Fiorentina in November 2023, at the age of 15 years and 260 days.

And then at 16 years and 226 days, he became the youngest Italian debutant in the Champions League when he featured against Club Brugge in October 2024.

Camarda agreed a long-term contract with Milan in 2024 and has previously attracted interest from Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.

According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea have become the latest team to register an interest in the teenager.

Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Feyenoord midfielder Gjivai Zechiel.

According to CaughtOffside, the 22-year-old's impressive start to the 2026-27 season has pushed him firmly onto the radar of clubs across Europe, including Chelsea and London rivals Arsenal.

The 22-year-old has returned to Feyenoord in the summer after useful loan spells with Sparta Rotterdam and Utrecht and has quickly become a key player for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

However, the Dutch side face a battle to keep hold of the midfielder as the aforementioned report states Chelsea have watched Zechiel closely ahead of the January transfer window.

It is also said that while Feyenoord are determined not to lose the Dutchman, they will demand a significant fee for a player they regard highly.
