Is there any chance you would consider new features as a toggle approval so we can skip them if clients want to stay on a version they prefer? Or is there a way to strip down WP to simplify for end users that I missed?

The general approach is to keep WordPress itself up to date for security and compatibility.

For client sites, you can simplify the admin experience using roles, settings, or trusted plugins to hide features they don’t need.

Thank you. Of course. We have always been able to do so. The problem is that clients LIKED the old editor, and we liked not having to work around all of the new features–especially AI. But moreso, they start playing with new features and we’re chasing after them to fix the mess. They should request features so we can train before poking around.

I also want the sites to run lighter than they run now ,and to eliminate as many outside connections as possible (less risk, less to watch.) I certainly don’t like AI automatically integrated, above all.
