The founder of one of the UK's fastest growing companies has spent millions developing a dream home project in one of the most fashionable postcodes outside London.

Kendall Jenner, Molly-Mae Hague, Nicole Kidman and Maya Jama have all appeared on Adanola's billboards in Los Angeles, New York and London.

Hyrum Cook, 33, founder of the Manchester based sportswear brand who is reported to be worth £200million, has snapped up a large detached property in north Cheshire.

Hyrum and his partner Jordana Lawton, a hair stylist from Liverpool, paid £3million for the sprawling home in an exclusive village which is also home to Molly Mae.

Mr Cook has since submitted plans for a large extension at ground floor level, supporting a terrace above which connects to the kitchen and main building.

Builders are currently working on the scheme, with large wagons and vans dotted around the property during the day.

A planning document seen by the Mail reads: 'The proposed lower ground floor extension and terrace represent a modest and carefully considered addition to a substantial existing dwelling.

'The proposal will enlarge the existing gym accommodation, provide a high-quality terrace directly connected to the kitchen and improve access between the house and garden. 

'The design has been developed to respond to the architectural character, using arched openings, masonry detailing and a lightweight balustrade treatment to create a sympathetic and well-integrated addition.

'The extension is subordinate in scale, located at lower ground floor level and will not compete with the principal form, elevations or roofscape of the existing house.'

A property expert who deals with high net worth clients told the Mail that the village was now one of the leading post codes in the north of England, attracting elites from the worlds of sport and business.

He said: 'That particular village is so old school and the large detached homes provide the privacy that is crucial for big names.

'It has a really distinct feel and seems to belong to an England that is slipping away.

'If you go too far in to Cheshire it can feel a bit remote but this post code is just minutes from the motorway network and Manchester Airport. It just ticks all the boxes.'

Hyrum and his brother Josh appeared on Dragons' Den in 2015 when they pitched funding for social media photo booth company Zeven Media. 

The brothers accepted £50,000 from Deborah Meaden for a 30 per cent stake in the company.

Zeven Media ended up in liquidation and was wound up owing creditors large sums of money.

But Adanola has experienced record growth with the company's assets surging between 2021 and 2023.

Following the recruitment of Niran Chana from Gymshark, Adanola's sales figures have continued to bolster, leading LA based Story3 Capital Partners to invest in the company now reported to be worth around £400m.

Mr Cook has also been expanding his commercial property portfolio, acquiring Marlsbro House in Manchester's trendy Northern Quarter and Peter House on Oxford Street.
