MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS/. Russian authorities have placed former model Ksenia Maximova, who heads a London-based organization for Russian emigres, on an international wanted list, the Federal Security Service (FSB) press office said.

"Maximova has been placed on federal and international wanted lists and added to Rosfinmonitoring’s list of organizations and individuals suspected of involvement in extremist activity or terrorism," the press office said.

The FSB noted it had opened a criminal case against Maximova under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code, which concerns participation in an organization designated as terrorist. According to the agency, she is an official of Russian Democratic Society UK, which Moscow has designated an undesirable organization, and the so-called UK consul of the Russia Anti-War Committee, which the country’s Supreme Court has designated a terrorist organization.

The FSB press office pointed out that Maximova used Russian Democratic Society UK to organize fundraising and other assistance for the Kiev regime. It noted that the group provided a platform for people planning a violent seizure of power and a change to Russia’s constitutional order, spread false information about the Russian armed forces, and organized campaigns at the behest of Western handlers to harass Russian officials in the United Kingdom.
