The Social Security Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Treasury Laws Amendment (Delivering an Efficient and Trusted Tax System) Act 2026 (Cth) (Act No 58 of 2026).

This Act makes various tax and administrative related amendments to legislation within the Treasury portfolio. Amendments allow deductions for gifts or contributions of less than $2, modernise tax administration systems, exclude certain tobacco and gambling related activities from the Research and Development Tax Incentive, and make minor and technical amendments. The Act also amends the Social Security Act 1991 (Cth) and Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 (Cth) in relation to payment of the pension supplement while overseas.

These amendments have been updated in the Point-in-Time Social Security Service current to 21 July 2026. (NB: Subscription required).
