President Donald Trump has routinely — and falsely — claimed that he won the 2020 election, which was actually won by Joe Biden.

But the new AI-powered America.gov website, which Trump unveiled Tuesday to great fanfare, says otherwise.

In response to the query “Who won the 2020 U.S. presidential election? Who lost?”, the America.gov site answers with this: “Joseph R. Biden Jr. won the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Donald J. Trump lost.” Citing the National Archives, the site also provides the official electoral college results from the election: “Biden: 306 electoral votes” and “Trump: 232 electoral votes.”

According to the White House, America.gov is “a single digital point of entry for Americans to access federal government information or services online.” Trump signed an executive order Tuesday to “ensure federal agencies integrate” with the new AI-powered website, per the White House.

The website is “a secure, intelligent and service-oriented single point of entry through which an individual can sign in, communicate in plain language, receive accurate answers, and, where authorized and technically available, complete government transactions without having to navigate multiple federal agencies’ websites,” per the Trump administration.

America.gov is powered by AI technology from Google’s Gemini and Elon Musk’s Grok, CNBC reported, citing U.S. chief design officer Joe Gebbia. According to the White House, the site provides information from 29,000 government websites, accessible using a chatbot prompt to answer questions. “Every answer is exclusively sourced from federal, state and local websites,” info on the website says.

At an event Tuesday in Washington, D.C., to launch America.gov, Trump said he would also issue an executive order requiring government documents to refer to “super intelligence” or “SI” rather than “artificial intelligence” or “AI” going forward.

“[T]he term ‘Super Intelligence’ more appropriately captures the promise, potential, and rapidly advancing capabilities of these technologies,” said the president’s executive order, issued later Tuesday. “It is therefore the policy of my Administration that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the executive branch shall use the terms ‘Super Intelligence’ and ‘SI’ in place of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘AI’ and will not acknowledge the usage of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘AI’ in any applicable setting.”

The America.gov result answering the question of who won the 2020 election was discovered Tuesday by outlets including MeidasTouch, a progressive media company founded by brothers Ben, Brett and Jordy Meiselas:
