A $22.3 million investment from The Endowment is helping UNCW, New Hanover County Schools, Cape Fear Community College and the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce expand nursing pathways and prepare future healthcare professionals.

In 2024, the University of North Carolina Wilmington, New Hanover County Schools, Cape Fear Community College and the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce received a three-year investment of $22.3 million from The Endowment to form the New Hanover Healthcare Career Partnership, aligning educators and employers around shared strategies for strengthening nursing pathways.
