According to the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), Brazilian exports of wood-based products (excluding pulp and paper) totaled $251.2 million in August, a 14% increase from $220.5 million in August 2025.

Pine sawnwood exports rose 37% in value, from $42.6 million in August 2025 to $58.4 million. Export volume rose 25% over the same period, from 191,100 m³ to 239,300 m³.

Tropical sawnwood exports rose 16% in volume, from 22,100 m³ to 25,600 m³. In value, exports rose 48%, from $8.7 million to $12.9 million.

Pine plywood exports rose 24% in value, from $42.8 million in August 2025 to $53.2 million. Export volume rose 21%, from 136,700 m³ to 165,000 m³.

Tropical plywood exports rose 25% in volume, from 2,800 m³ to 3,500 m³, and rose 40% in value, from $1.5 million to $2.1 million.

Wooden furniture exports rose 3% year-over-year, from $44.6 million in August 2025 to $45.9 million in August.
