Byteproduct announced today that its new game, Sturmjager, a science-fiction shoot ’em up, will be coming to Nintendo Switch on January 14, 2027.

The game is a shoot ’em up featuring detailed visuals, giving players the chance to battle their way through 10 action-packed levels and epic boss fights.

Here’s an overview of the game:

Master ten unique missions, either solo or with a friend in local co-op. Every single stage features its own distinct visual theme and a custom-tailored soundtrack, taking you from the deepest corners of outer space straight to the bottom of the ocean—merciless boss fights included. With three different game modes and three difficulty levels, maximum replayability is guaranteed, no matter how fast your reflexes are.

The rules are simple: If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn’t move… shoot it anyway, just to be safe.

Genre veterans are in for a treat: The deep, finely-tuned scoring system rewards aggressive and flawless gameplay. Rack up massive score multipliers with quick kills, kill chains, risky proximity close-quarters attacks, no-death runs, and much more. Perfect your strategy, climb the global online leaderboards, and test your mettle against the best pilots in the world!
