sorry i never make personal posts but this has been on my mind for a while
haley your anon ask made me think sjjsks cause ive followed you since then too and its just made me think
i dont think this makes sense LMAO
this is referring more to like mutuals that you don’t necessarily message everyday but you know a bit about them jusy cause you’ve followed
and read their psots for so long that you feel close to them in a strange way
tumblr and just growing up online in general is so weird because there are people on here who i’ve followed since grade 8 and through time i’ve watched people change and grow, even though it’s just been through the art they share or the personal posts they make
like there are people ive followed on here for like ¾ years who i barely talk to but ive made a sort of connection just from following each other for such a long time
it seems weird to say but i think i’ll always think about the people who i followed online in the past and just wonder abt their well-being (even if i end up abandoning this blog someday when im older) because they’ve been such a big part in my life? like going online each day watching them paint a picture of their personality online
there are old Instagram accounts i’ve abandoned where ive followed other people like spam accounts i guess and made little friendships but I still think about them all the time like man I hope you’re doing good
im not sure if it’s like a distanced friendship sort of thing or just something new about living and growing up with the internet but man in short i think i’ll remember my tumblr mutuals for a long time (even if that sounds weird to say)
