The new model focuses heavily on photography and video, featuring a ZEISS co-engineered camera system, a 1.5K OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 7,200 mAh battery, and 90W FlashCharge. The vivo V80 is also the first V-Series smartphone in India to ship with OriginOS 7, based on Android 17. Other highlights include the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, AI-powered camera tools, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68/IP69 ratings. The smartphone is launched alongside the vivo S2 FE.

The vivo V80 features a triple rear camera system co-engineered with ZEISS. The setup includes a 50 MP ZEISS OIS main camera using the Sony LYTIA 700V sensor, a 50 MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera with the Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS, and an 8 MP ZEISS ultra-wide-angle camera. At the front, the smartphone features a 50 MP ZEISS Group Selfie camera with autofocus and a 92° wide-angle field of view.
The 50 MP telephoto camera supports OIS, 3x optical zoom, and up to 100x zoom. vivo is also highlighting ZEISS portrait capabilities, including 85 mm and 100 mm Center-Stage Portrait modes, along with multiple portrait focal lengths including 23 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm, and 100 mm with ZEISS bokeh simulations. For video recording, the vivo V80 supports 4K Cinematic Video and 4K video recording at 60 fps, along with three cinematic color profiles: Modern Movie, Vibrant, and Pastel.
AI Creative Camera & AI Diwali Portrait 2.0The vivo V80 introduces an AI Creative Camera with more than 30 AI-powered creative effects. One of the new features is Live Sticker Collage, which can turn elements from live photos into personalized sticker-style compositions.
The smartphone also includes AI Diwali Portrait 2.0, designed to enhance festive portraits with festive elements such as Rangoli and Toran. Other AI-powered features include AI Retouch for background expansion, object erasure, and repositioning. The phone also includes Pet Pals, Snap Note, StickIt, Wiggle Theme, and Security Shield, expanding the phone’s AI, personalization, productivity, and security features beyond photography.


The vivo V80 comes with a 6.59-inch OLED display offering a 1.5K resolution (2,750 x 1,260 pixels) and up to a 144 Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 1.07 billion colors and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. It also supports an ultra-low brightness mode that can reduce the display to 1 nit for more comfortable viewing in darker environments.
The vivo V80 uses a one-piece cold-carved glass rear panel with a floating camera module. The smartphone is available in three color options: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black. The device is as slim as 7.69 mm and weighs 203 grams, despite packing a 7,200 mAh battery. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The smartphone comes with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM, with up to 16 GB Extended RAM available through software optimization, while storage uses UFS 3.1 and is available in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB configurations.
On the software side, the V80 runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7. It is the first V-Series smartphone in India to ship with the new OriginOS interface. The software introduces the Origin Smooth Engine for performance optimization, along with Snap Note for converting photographed text and handwritten content into editable notes and vivo Office Kit for multi-device workflows. Other features include Pet Pals, StickIt, Wiggle Theme, and Security Shield. vivo promises up to 6 years of extended security updates. For biometric security, the smartphone features a 3D ultrasonic single-point fingerprint sensor.
The vivo V80 packs a 7,200 mAh battery, which vivo describes as the largest battery capacity in its V-Series lineup in India. The company claims up to 14 hours of navigation and up to 39.5 hours of video playback. The smartphone supports 90W FlashCharge, with vivo claiming that the battery can reach 50% charge in around 30 minutes using Fast Charging Mode.

The vivo V80 is priced at ₹62,999 for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage variant. The 8 GB + 256 GB model is priced at ₹69,999, while the top-end 8 GB + 512 GB variant costs ₹79,999. Pre-orders begin today, i.e., 6th October 2026, with general sales starting from 13th October 2026 on vivo’s official online store, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, and authorized mainline retail stores.
