The second call for applications for the “Experimenta o Técnico” programme offered by Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, is open until 13 October 2026. The programme is designed for 12th-grade students or young people who have already completed secondary education and wish to gain firsthand experience of higher education.

Over the course of one academic year, participants are exposed to different fields of engineering, science, and technology through classes, projects, and activities held at Técnico. The programme also allows participants to explore laboratory activities and learning spaces, interact with faculty, researchers, and students, and develop a project under the supervision of faculty and mentors.

Support from the Oeiras Municipality

For the 2026/2027 academic year, the Oeiras Municipality provides financial support to students who are currently attending, or have previously attended, educational institutions in the Oeiras municipality, provided they meet the criteria established for receiving this support.
