The electrifying on-screen chemistry between Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor made Moulin Rouge a must-watch movie for cinema fans in 2001.
Now 23 years on, the 57-year-old Oscar winning actress has welcomed a new generation of McGregors to the red carpet as she posed along the Scots actor’s daughter Esther.
The 23-year-old shared a hug with Kidman at the Los Angeles premiere of the film Babygirl, which sees her play the Australian actress’s teenage daughter.
But despite only being born in the year Moulin Rouge was a hit, she looked every inch a Hollywood star in her own right as she smiled for the cameras in a strappy black dress.
The pair were also photographed at a screening of Babygirl in New York in October.
Kidman has already been widely praised for her portrayal of a chief executive who is married with children but has a forbidden romance with a much younger intern.
Esther had also shared how the film had parallels with real life as she had been 16 when her parents split up in 2017 after 22 years of marriage.

In an interview with Variety in August, she said: ‘A lot of my personal life and things that I’ve kind of gone through with my family, and the dynamic of that, weirdly kind of replicated itself on the screen, just in the opposite way as I was dealing with my mother instead of my father.
‘For me, that was the age when you shift and realize your parents are humans and f--- up and make mistakes and make decisions that might not be in the interest of others.
‘So it was really interesting to revisit that with a different perspective.’
Her 53-year-old father had also let slip that Esther – the second-oldest of his five children - was working on a project with Kidman when he suffered a ‘proud dad’ moment.
During a panel discussion about Star Wars in February, he said: ‘My daughter Esther is filming with — she's playing Nicole Kidman's daughter in a movie right now. Full circle.’
He then joked: ‘Maybe no one's meant to know that ... I should have checked before I just announced that to the world. Proud dad moment, sorry.’
