Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani marked Hafez Day in a post on her social media account, saying Hafez is the collective memory of Iranians and the voice of love and hope that has remained alive in their homes for centuries.

She recalled his teaching that the difficulty of the path does not extinguish the joy of achievement, adding that with reliance on the people and the long-standing culture of this land, Iran will always endure.
