WaveMachine Labs have announced that the latest version of their drum-replacement software is now available, and it’s said to be the biggest update since its initial release over 20 years ago. 

Drumagog 6 is the result of a ground-up rebuild of the original software, and is now available as a standalone application as well as a DAW plug-in. The most significant news is a new Kit mode that allows users to replace their entire kit with just a single instance of Drumagog on their drum bus, while both Kit and the existing Drum modes now offer built-in tools for nudging the timing and velocity of detected hits. The included library has been overhauled too, and now automatically sorts its contents by how closely they match users’ own drum tracks.

• Kit Mode (Platinum): Put one copy of Drumagog on the drum bus and it replaces the whole kit. There's a lane for each drum on the Trigger page and a strip for it on the Mix page.
• Hits You Can Edit: In Drum and Kit mode every hit Drumagog found shows up on the waveform, where you can move it or change how hard it plays. Remove Similar fixes a whole group of mistakes in one click.
• A Library That Sorts Itself: Drumagog measures the drum on your track and ranks every GOG you own by how close it sounds.
• ARA 2 Support: In DAWs that support ARA 2, Drumagog reads the whole track at once. In Drum mode the hits are already on the waveform before you press play.
• MIDI For Every Drum: Every hit is also a MIDI note on the piano roll. Drag the notes into your DAW as a clip, or play another drum instrument with them.
• Standalone App: Open a recording, replace the drums and export the result as a WAV file without opening your DAW.

Drumagog 6 is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or later, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with a standalone application.
