Albany's Community Advocacy Response Team reflects on first year of service

Дата публикации: 13-10-2026 21:51:40

As we continue to follow mental health crisis response across the Capital Region, one local resource is reflecting on their first year of service. Albany's Community Advocacy Response Team, known as CART, has responded to just under one thousand calls of service in the past year alone. They’re working to bridge the gap of long term care and initial crisis response, hand in hand with the Albany Police Department and several other agencies. These crisis caseworkers are responding to everything from mental health crises, to substance abuse concerns, and homelessness.
