Yaron Mizrachi, president and CEO of Bagira, told the business daily Globes that the company views itself as standing alongside Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in the training and simulation niche. The remarks came roughly four months after Bagira completed an initial public offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Bagira projects 2026 revenue of 340 million to 380 million shekels (roughly $113 million to $127 million) and is targeting average annual revenue growth of 25% to 35% through 2030, according to company statements and the Globes report. Mizrachi described Europe’s ongoing military buildup as only beginning, saying, “A tsunami is coming, and so far, we’ve only felt the first ripples.”

The company, which trains forces in 22 countries, is expanding its presence across NATO members, increasing production capacity in Europe and evaluating potential acquisitions that could accelerate international growth, Mizrachi said. Bagira maintains a development and production facility in the Czech Republic in addition to its headquarters in Modi’in, Israel.

In the first half of 2026, Bagira reported revenue of about 163 million shekels, a 51% increase from the year-earlier period, driven largely by a more-than-fourfold rise in European revenue to roughly 94 million shekels. Net profit rose about 44% to approximately 54 million shekels. The company confirmed its full-year revenue guidance after the results. Its order backlog stood at 519 million shekels at the end of the half, down from year-end 2025 levels, a decline the company has attributed in part to the timing of government orders and currency effects.

Bagira was founded in 2004 by Arie Mizrachi, a retired brigadier general who previously served as chief artillery officer of the Israel Defense Forces. The family retains control following the June IPO, which valued the company at roughly 3.2 billion shekels before the offering. Yaron Mizrachi serves as president and CEO, while his brother Sagi Mizrachi is involved in senior leadership. The firm employs about 450 people and operates dozens of training facilities worldwide that serve hundreds of thousands of soldiers annually.

Its systems include live, virtual and constructive training tools such as the MAGNET force-on-force system, which enables realistic training without live ammunition, as well as mobile and joint-fires simulation platforms. The company has secured contracts with NATO members and other European forces, including work involving the British Army and Estonia.

Mizrachi has indicated that demand is being fueled by European plans to raise defense spending, including commitments toward higher percentages of GDP, and by lessons drawn from recent conflicts regarding the need for continuous, decentralized training of both active forces and reserves.

Bagira listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in June as one of the larger defense-related offerings of the year. The company has said it intends to use proceeds in part to support growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
