The event was held to support initiatives of the Russian President to improve investment climate in the country and promote innovations and industry development as drivers of the national economy growth. The Forum was initiated by the Business Community Assembly and organised by AERgroup. The Course for Innovative Industrial Development: Russia Has a Choice to Make plenary session was the Forum’s highlight. The participants shared their views of the problems impeding innovative industrial development of Russia and offered their solutions. The Forum provided Russian business people coming from 37 regions with an opportunity to learn about existing programmes, successful businesses and examples of efficient independent or government-supported entrepreneurial initiatives. The participants continued networking and discussing the highlighted opportunities at the round tables where they learned about successful practices and projects currently underway in Russian regions.
