Jordan Henderson injures himself during England celebrations
Substitute Jordan Henderson was stretchered off the pitch after England's win over Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.
The midfielder, who did not play in the match, was rushed to hospital following the game.
Henderson was an unused substitute as England edged their way to a thrilling 3-2 win in Mexico City, reports WalesOnline.
And while the rest of the squad were celebrating with fans, concerns were quickly raised for the Brentford star, who soon appeared in distress and was given immediate attention by medics.
As it turns out, Henderson had hurt himself while trying to clear the advertising hoardings in a bid to celebrate with his team-mates.
Footage on the incident later emerged online, appearing to show Henderson suffering a nasty fall, where he awkwardly landed on his wrist while trying to follow teammate Dan Burn.
Skipper Harry Kane said on the BBC: "Jordan Hendo just fell over there. I think he’s OK."
However, fellow teammate Jude Bellingham added the 36-year-old was "in a bit of bother", after members of the squad crowded round as he received treatment.
He explained: "He's in a bit of bother, but the medical team have got everything under control.
"Best to not give too much detail when I don't know too much what's going on.
"But everyone was there to support him and even that was a beautiful thing to see."
BBC host Kelly Cates later explained: "[Kane] says [Henderson] is absolutely fine, but he did fall over the advertising hoardings.
"That's what we think has happened. It looked like he was getting some oxygen as he was being stretchered off the pitch.
"We'll get an update on that, but Harry Kane was saying he isn't too concerned at the moment about that injury."

Boss Thomas Tuchel gave an update to the BBC after the match.
"Not good, not good," he told presenter Kelly Somers. "Jordan just fell over and injured his wrist. It looks really bad."
In his post-match press conference, Tuchel added: "He injured his wrist, he's gone to hospital. It's quite a serious injury. It doesn't fit with the night. I don't know if there will be a procedure."
