Out thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones

Tributes have been paid to a much-loved brother who 'went to sleep and didn't wake up' are among the death and funeral notices from Essex Chronicle this week. Aged 85. Beloved father, passed away Sunday 14th June. Funeral to be held Friday 31st July 12.30pm at Chelmsford Crematorium.

Ray COOPER

Passed away peacefully on the 1st of June 2026, aged 83 years. Much loved Dad to Dawn, Helen and Tim; much loved father in law to Ollie and Iain and loving Grandad of Isaak, Noah, Silas, Mikai and Lottie. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Jean. Geoffrey Richard MARCH

Passed away at home on 2nd June 2026, aged 73 years. Funeral service to be held at St Peter & St Paul Church, Black Notley on Friday 17th July 2026 at 2pm, followed by burial. Went to sleep and didn't wake up. In the arms of Angels now. Son of Roy and Gloria. Brother of Paul and Joanne. Uncle of Charlie. Rest in peace Ian, forever in our hearts and thoughts!
