Police are investigating a break-in at a smoke shop on Capital Boulevard.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Monday, police responded to a breaking and entering at Mini City Tobacco & Vape, located at 4630 Capital Blvd., near Calvary Drive.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived shortly after and spoke to the owner, who said someone used a hammer to break into the business then stole about $30,000 of THCA products.

Surveillance video shows the suspect trying to break the glass multiple times, bashing it with a hammer, before he jumps through a window to get inside. There were shards of glass everywhere.

Video also shows him appearing to take a trash can full of product out of the store.

Raleigh police are searching for the man, who is not in custody.

The store has reopened.
