Due to economic uncertainty, 50% of homeowners surveyed by DuraPlas said they plan on skipping HVAC maintenance this summer. The 2026 Summer Cooling Report shows 99% of respondents across all income brackets, regions, and generations are altering their cooling and spending habits. This presents both challenges and opportunities for HVAC contractors as customers look to save money while seeking out more efficient and durable HVAC systems.
