Two teenagers have been arrested after reports of "multiple shop burglaries" in Llandudno. North Wales Police said a 16-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested following reports of "disturbances" at stores on Mostyn Street.

A spokesperson said: "Two youths were arrested during the early hours this morning, 6 July, following reports of multiple burglaries at shops in Llandudno.

"Officers responded to reports of disturbances at shops on Mostyn Street which subsequently resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old.

"They remain in custody whilst enquiries are ongoing.

"Anybody who witnessed suspicious activity on Mostyn Street overnight or may have footage that could assist our enquiries should contact us via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 26000540702."
