Presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Millionaire Hot Seat is a faster-paced, tougher spin-off to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
The format sees six contestants take part, with only up to 30 seconds to answer questions when in the hot seat.
For Monday's (January 12) episode, audience members hit out after spotting a change to the TV schedule.
As Millionaire Hot Seat aired at 7.30pm, it pushed soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street back by half an hour.
Taking to X, one person wrote: '#MillionaireHotSeat What the hell is this s**t? Where's Emmerdale?'
Millionaire Hot Seat viewers have hit out after the new ITV game show sparked further complaints
The show - a spin off to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - features six contestants all of whom are vying to win up to £1m in a fast-paced format
Only correct answers allow the players to climb up the money ladder and a wrong answer will kick them out of the game, and decrease the top prize
Another commented: '@itv will you move #MillionaireHotSeat to after the soaps.
'It's so boring and repetitive and not needed EVERY DAY. Put #Emmerdale and #CoronationStreet back on in their accustomed slots.'
A third said: '#MillionaireHotSeat in place of #Emmerdale... Getting used to the new schedule!!! But already missing #CorrieDale focus!!'
While a fourth chimed in: 'Another week of #MillionaireHotSeat.
'It's absolute s***e ffs... @ITV sort it out... no one is watching it. Get the f***ing soaps back on.'
Fans were furious that the show delayed their favourite soaps by a whole hour
It comes as Clarkson's Farm star Jeremy, 65, previously addressed viewers' complaints about his new show.
As episodes progressed, viewers have criticised contestants for wasting their time limits by chatting.
One commented: 'Wouldn’t you have thought that the time constraint would have cut out all this waffling.'
Another wrote: 'All the waffling is getting a bit annoying I thought it was supposed to be fast paced.'
A third remarked: 'Why do they all blather so much! Shut up and answer the question already!'
A fourth concurred: 'Oh great another one who waffles on. Just b***** answer.'
Meanwhile, a fifth said: 'Can someone please explain to the Contestants that they need to stop nattering and answer the questions as quickly as possible, so frustrating!'
To which Jeremy defiantly replied: 'I do. Before the show every time.'
Others admitted that they 'quite liked' the change to the series, which has been on air since 1998.
The format of the new game sees contestants queue for the Hot Seat where one person at a time will face Jeremy.
They then have to answer question on the Million Pound Money Ladder.
Furious viewers previously branded Millionaire Hot Seat an 'awful rehash' after they hit out with a series of scathing complaints
Only correct answers allow the players to climb up the ladder and a wrong answer will kick them out of the game, and decrease the top prize.
If a participant passes, they remain in the game and go to the back of the line for the Hot Seat, but in a ruthless twist they aren't promised another turn.
The passed question is then given to the next player who must answer it correctly to stay.
In another savage twist, only the top prize left on the ladder can be won and the player taking on the question has to get it right to take it home.
ITV announced Millionaire Hot Seat in July 2025 - while confirming Jeremy would be reprising his role as host.
Speaking at the time, ITV boss Katie Rawcliffe said: 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has reached 18 million viewers on ITV so far this year alone.
'Commissioning a new spin off format to further capitalise on the brand's success and popularity was a no brainer, especially with Millionaire Hot Seat already doing so well in other territories also.'
While Matthew Worthy, co-CEO of Stellify Media, the company producing the show, added: 'It is an honour to produce Millionaire for ITV.
'Millionaire Hot Seat is the main show's cheeky younger sibling, and gives us more Jeremy, enjoying more money-ladder moments - but with a whole new tone, pace, and feel.'
Millionaire Hot Seat is available to watch on ITV1 and ITVX.
