Hello,
I am currently running into an issue with my code.
I created a formular which is using the bp_core_signup_user() to create a BP User.
After submitting, the visitor receives an email for the activation, which is all perfectly fine.
After activation though, he/she cannot login since the password seems not to be working.
Only when the Admin is creating a new password manually or the user is requesting a password change a login can be done.
If I use the standard “Register” page (redirect from /wp-admin) it all works well.
What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else ever been fighting with this?
I am working on a fresh project where I do not have many other plugins running actively.
