Relive Daily Mail Sport's live coverage of the latest updates as Brazil take on Japan in the round of 32 of the World Cup at the Houston Stadium.
You just can't beat the drama of a last-minute winner, can you?
The elation and ecstasy on one side and the devastation on the other. It's one of the best ways to win and one of the worst ways to lose. And as a fan, it's just incredible to watch.
And well, Brazil will feel incredible right now. Over the moon, some would say, after Gabriel Martinelli sent them through to the round of 16. Better still, they were behind at some point.
But it's just heartbreaking for the Japanese. Yet again, they have come so close to a knockout stage win, yet so far.
Anyway, I need to dash. Thanks for joining, and we will see you soon.

That has been a long time coming for Brazil.
They have won after conceding the opening goal at a World Cup game for the first time since June 2014 against Croatia - a run of 5 games without a win.
In fact, it is the first time they have won after trailing at half-time since the group stages of the 2002 World Cup against Turkey.
You don't get better comeback wins than that, either. A last-gasp winner.

Roy Keane, former Republic of Ireland captain, on ITV:
What a game! The second half was fantastic. Brazil's spirit and fight is as good as any of their previous teams. It is hard to please me, but I loved watching games like that. That's why it is the best game in the world. I loved it.

Oooo...
Now, I love the sound of this. Whoever Brazil face next it will be one hell of a tussle in the round of 16.
They will either face Ivory Coast or Norway in the next round; both sides will give them one hell of a game.
They face tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled.

This is the reality of a last-gasp winner.
Pure joy and jubilation for one team, and well, absolute agony for the other.
These pictures tell the story perfectly.

I won't name names, but about 10 minutes before the winner, one of my colleagues said that Bruno Guimaraes had been 'awful'.
He did caveat that by saying, 'probably commentator's curse'.
And well, it was. The Newcastle man went on to provide the big moment, setting up Gabriel Martinelli's winner.
It means that Guimaraes has now provided more assists than any other player at the 2026 World Cup, with four.

Man, I really feel for Japan.
I know as a reporter we are supposed to be impartial, but as a human, I am heartbroken for them.
They went ahead in the last 16 against Belgium in 2018, but lost late. They did the same against Croatia four years ago and lost on penalties. And for the third time in a row, it's happened again.
Every single defeat in the knockouts has been as brutal as the other.
Now, did they deserve to go through? No. However, they did put in one hell of a shift.
It just wasn't meant to be, again...

Chris Sutton, former England striker, on BBC Sport:
You felt the equaliser was coming, but then Japan went again and it became quite an open game. I think it would have been fair to go to extra-time, but football is all about moments and that wonderful moment of magic from Martinelli. Brazil are through again. Crafty Carlo, once again. That is what he does.

This is how Brazil secured their place in the last 16.
It was such an entertaining second half, and well, what a goal to get the job done from Brazil.
The perfect pass from Bruno Guimaraes, and Gabriel Martinelli did the rest while under pressure.
And just look at those scenes in the stands.

I can't lie, I didn't see that coming.
I had a post prepared for extra-time, I almost felt like ti was a certainty the game was going in that direction.
But the best of the best always find a way, and fair play to Brazil, they managed to turn the game around in the end.
It was a superb second-half display, and you can't say that they don't deserve the win. The players are now celebrating with their fans, having a right party.
At the other end of the pitch, Japan look heartbroken.

Brazil have done it!
The dream of a sixth star is still alive for the kings of the World Cup, and its all thanks to a second-half comeback.
But for Japan, it's yet more heartbreak. For the third time in a row, they have fallen the wrong side of the turnaround in the knockouts.
A brutal way to lose.
