Considered one of the cleanest countries in the world, Taiwan has no shortage of innovative gadgets used to keep homes looking spick and span.

Social media users on platforms like TikTok and Instagram have been left in awe of these high-tech innovations used by locals to refresh and reset their living spaces every week.

One Taiwanese 'cleanfluencer' has racked up over 40,000 followers on TikTok by posting skit-style videos of her tidying up while acting out a variety of scenarios - including right after house guests leave.

The clip, which has over 260,000 views at the time of writing, shows the TikTok star - whose content has followers 'obsessed' - disinfecting delivery boxes before tackling the kitchen and bathroom with an array of delightfully effective and unusual products.

In the video, Lin (@lin001219) can be seen slipping her hands into rubber gloves from a wall-mounted dispenser and spraying her bathroom sink with a foaming cleaner.

She then uses an electric cleaning brush with rotating bristles that leaves the sink looking sparkling clean.

Lin picks a sponge mop with a roller that effortlessly squeezes out excess water and a 'zero waste' dissolving toilet brush with a disposable pad that can be flushed after use.

She also squeezes out a pink liquid that magically transforms into flower-shaped odour removers that stick to the surface of the bowl.

Then she brings out a multifunctional sofa cleaner, equipped with tools for stain removal, steaming, and vacuuming, as Lin uses the gadget on her cushions, curtains, and sofas.

Other products include a blue ball of a jelly-like substance that easily picks up dust and crumbs as Lin rolls the blue-coloured jelly on the keyboard and her remote controls.

In the nearly six-minute-long video, Lin cleans surfaces big and small - from her kitchen sink and the wooden floors in her home to her hairbrushes, as 'obsessed' social media users declared 'my show is on'.

Videos of homeowners demonstrating nifty products in countries with an immaculate reputation for cleanliness - from Singapore to South Korea - are very popular on TikTok.

Japan, for instance, is seemingly at the forefront of clean-tech innovation, after a video on TikTok revealed some of the nation's most exciting products that also underscore a commitment to smart living.

In one such clip, a homeowner demonstrated her sophisticated cleaning ritual, with help from a wall-mounted laundry machine and a miniature home washer for smaller items.

Even shoes have their own special washing compartment, ensuring there is no need for them to be put into the same load of laundry as your clothes.

Dried with an electric machine that seeks to keep them fresh, these shoes are not bundled into a messy cupboard in the hallway or placed on a traditional shoe rack. Instead, they are kept in a specially heated drawer for maximum comfort.

Advanced incense machines are used to offer a sense of calm to the home, while the woman also uses a specialist toothbrush sanitiser that dispenses toothpaste at the click of a button.

The list of unusual home cleaning products do not stop there. Even in the kitchen, the woman is spotted arranging her eggs in a large egg drawers, while a vacuum sealer machine helps to keep her leftover food fresh with ease.

In a bid to avoid any supermarket fruit or veg from being unsanitary, she also places a vegetable washing machine/purifier into a bowl with her products.

And when it comes to keeping the bedroom clean – the innovative home owner uses a mattress cleaning vacuum and, for those who enjoy seeing the results, proudly shows the vast amount of rubbish collected afterwards.

Meanwhile, in Singapore, products like motion-activated rubbish bins, fridge organisers, and dehumidifiers are very popular.

Taking to TikTok earlier this year, Singaporean influencer demonstrated her using a handy 'winbot' from company ECOVACS - which she uses to clean her windows without tiring her arms out.

'It does the job for me,' she shared' 'I just place it on, press start and it automatically begins cleaning.

'It's not just for windows. I also use it on bathrooms, glass, large mirrors. It's small and compact, sprays evenly and even maps the cleaning route on its own!'
