Jamie Laing has revealed he made his wife Sophie Habboo 'raging' in the bedroom when they were trying to conceive their first child.

The Made In Chelsea stars welcomed their first child – a son named Ziggy – last December and documented the journey in a series for Disney+ called Raising Chelsea

But appearing on Olivia Attwood's podcast on Thursday alongside Sophie, Jamie revealed that the pressure of trying to conceive meant he failed to perform in the bedroom.

Speaking on Olivia's House, Jamie said of the pressure of trying to get pregnant: 'For some reason, every part of my being was like "don't do this" and I was like, "What's going on?" So, nothing was working.'

'Wait, nothing was working?' shocked host Olivia asked, as Jamie repeated: 'Nothing was working.'

His wife Sophie then shared how furious she was at the time, saying: 'Raging, I was like, you're f*****g joking, this is f****d…'

Jamie then shared of the pressure to perform: 'She [Sophie] was like, "I'm ovulating". I was like, "How long for?"'

'So the pressure got to you?' Olivia asked, as Jamie added: 'So much pressure, so much pressure. It was like so full on.'

Last month Jamie and Sophie showed off their new nursery at their £12 million London home, unveiling a 'tranquil' space for their baby son Ziggy.

The couple, who debuted their TV show this week following their lives as new parents, have created a serene bedroom for their first child in their recently renovated home.

Following a Scandi aesthetic that they have used throughout their West London townhouse, the nursery is decorated in warm neutrals, complemented by a statement gingham wallpaper and soft furnishings.

The 'tranquil and cosy' attic room is filled with buys from high street brand Mamas & Papas including a £1,048 two piece cot bed and dresser changer set.

The new parents have drawn inspiration from their own childhoods with Jamie, 37, selecting a green striped rocking horse for his son after remembering a similar piece from his own nursery.

Sophie, 31, used a cloud mobile hanging above the cot to inspire the calm vibes of the room.

'Creating our dream nursery has been such an emotional and special part of the journey. We wanted a space that felt both beautiful and practical, and every piece we chose strikes that balance - it just feels perfect,' the couple gushed.

Made In Chelsea couple Jamie, 37, and Sophie, 31, welcomed their baby son Ziggy in December 2025 and documented the 'terrifying' birth in their three-part Disney+ show, Raising Chelsea

'There were so many decisions when preparing for Ziggy’s arrival and the guidance in our ‘Buying for Baby’ appointment made everything feel so much calmer and more considered.'

The first episode of Jamie and Sophie's new show Raising Chelsea, hit screens on April 2, and sees Jamie and Sophie battling against time to get their home finished in time for the birth of their first child.

The three-part series follows the former Made In Chelsea stars as they face the reality of becoming parents.

It follows Sophie and Jamie from early pregnancy to labour and finally meeting their baby son, Ziggy, now nearly four months old.

And much of the action in the debut episode is dedicated to the makeover happening inside the £4.1million property that they purchased together ahead of the birth.

Now said to be worth a whopping £12million thanks to a renovations overhaul, Jamie and Sophie will offer fans a sneak peek inside all the rooms on the series.

Seen both before, during and after the renovations, new dad Jamie also discusses the mammoth price tag of doing up the property, thanks to Sophie's 'expensive taste'.

Before the big reveal as the couple meet with building project planners to discuss the final design choices, they spill the details on the marble floor downstairs in the property, which cost a mammoth £44,000.

Jamie is seen telling the cameras: 'If it was down to me, I would go for a little wood and like, stone, and maybe like a golf simulator, that would be my taste, but Sophie's taste is now that.'

He later adds to the builders: 'Everything she picks is the most expensive... "Oh, I quite like that one", obviously because it's the most expensive.

'Jack, I didn't realise how expensive marble was. They have quoted £44,000. I had a panic attack, and got over that, we can't do that, it's a complete and utter joke.

'Bills are coming out of your a***hole, and it's going to be this budget, and then it's not this budget, they set you a timeline, and then the timeline goes way over.'

'You better love this place. I'm being serious, it's a lot,' Jamie is then seen telling Sophie, who hits back: 'All you talk about is the money, it's embarrassing.'

The former reality star has accumulated his wealth thanks to a number of business ventures, including co-founding sweet manufacturing company Candy Kittens in 2012.

His ancestor Alexander Grant also helped invent Digestives and is the founder of the McVitie's brand.

Jamie has also starred on Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Gogglebox and The Great British Bake Off.

He co-hosts hit podcast NearlyParents with wife Sophie, which draws big advertisers such as cosmetic brand Max Factor.
