Ruby Tuesday Matthews has stunned followers after sharing a startling new look.

The 31-year-old Byron Bay influencer is barely recognisable after debuting a puffed-up blonde hairdo over the weekend.

Posting to her Instagram, Ruby posed in tight hipsters and a low-cut singlet top for the selfie that showed off her trim midriff. 

Ruby included a cheeky caption about her transformation, which suggested Playboy model Pamela Anderson might have influenced the bouncy updo.

'Where's Tommy Lee?' she joked in the caption, referring to Anderson's headline-making '90s romance and marriage to the American rock musician.

Anderson's trademark hairstyle was a far cry from Ruby's previous brown locks, which she has been seen sporting in her posts online.

Many of Ruby's followers shared their enthusiasm for the social media star's surprise makeover.

'I think all the Tommys in Australia are now on their way,' joked one follower.

Meanwhile, another follower saw the look as a nod to a late UK hitmaker.

'It's giving blonde Amy Winehouse,' commented the fan, while another thought Ruby's new hair resembled Christina Aguilera's on-stage look.

It comes after Ruby recently revealed she is taking cannabidiol (CBD) gummies to 'get through life' and the chaos of raising three children.

The influencer shares sons Rocket, who turns 10 this month, and Mars, eight, with ex Ryan Heywood and daughter Holiday, three, with her fiancé Shannan Dodd.

Back in June, Ruby shared some videos to Instagram which showed her popping open some CBD gummies as her kids hung off her at the end of a long day.

In the clips, Ruby looked exhausted as she sat on her couch while her young ones could be heard chatting away in the background.

The next video saw Ruby opening a bottle of CBD gummies from Hemp Farmacy as one of her sons tried to get her to 'make a face'.

Hemp Farmacy claims on its website the CBD product will bring users 'a sense of calm, relaxation, and balance' and help them 'unwind after a stressful day, improve sleep, or manage daily tension'.

Ruby has gained a huge fanbase on Instagram for her candid fashion videos as well as her content documenting her day-to-day life with her family.

She shares her two sons, Rocket and Mars, with her ex-partner Ryan Heywood.

She also has a daughter Holiday, with her fiancé Shannan.

It is unclear when exactly Ruby and Shannan began dating, but loved-up Instagram photos of the pair began appearing on the platform in May 2021.

The lovebirds announced their engagement in June of that year.
