They met earlier this year after she appeared on his reality television show.

And things seem to be going well for Renee Zellweger as her boyfriend, Ant Anstead, paid a visit with his son, Hudson, to New Orleans, Louisiana while she's in town working on the true crime series The Thing About Pam.

The 52-year-old actress was positively beaming as she strolled hand in hand with her man before popping into a Whole Foods for groceries on the long Thanksgiving weekend with her beau. 

Renee looked completely relaxed as she showed the guys around the city while on a break from filming.

The Academy Award-winner sported a lightweight black puffer jacket on top of a grey T-shirt.

She paired her casual coat with khaki cargos, and rolled up the legs of her pants to show off a pair of worn-in denim Converse trainers.

Zellweger paid homage to her Texas roots by wearing an orange Longhorns cap over her blonde hair, and appeared to be relatively makeup-free.

She opted to stay safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic by wearing a light pink face mask, and carried a black backpack while sightseeing around Bourbon Street.  

Ant wore a dark blue button-up shirt with grey jeans and stayed close to Zellweger's side throughout the day. 

She expertly played the role of photographer while taking pictures of Hudson, who he shares with ex Christina Haack, with a horse on Bourbon Street.

He shared a few snaps of their fun family holiday where they explored the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas before seeing the sights of the French Quarter.

Anstead was overwhelmed with gratitude as he shared a snap of snacks and folded laundry and wrote: 'When you GF wakes at 4am to get to work but still does the laundry and prepares a travel package to wake up to.'

Renee was likely heading back to set of The Thing About Pam where she stars as Pam Hupp, a 'serial killer' serving life without parole after allegedly killing a disabled man and her own friend in December 2011. 

Ant recently went public with the relationship after the couple met earlier this year while working on his Discovery+ show, Celebrity IOU Joyride.

Speaking to PEOPLE (The TV show!) last month, Ant said: 'I'm really grateful to the show because these amazing things happen in your world and sometimes when things collide, they collide at the most obscure times when you least expect them.'

He added: 'And that's what happened in this case. I'm grateful for that.'

In a separate September interview with the outlet, Ant confirmed that his and Renee's relationship is 'something that's really private.'

Earlier this year, Ant finalized his divorce from fellow reality star Christina Haack.

The pair married in a surprise wedding at their home in California and had a son, Hudson, now two, but by September 2020 it was all over.

Haack has since found love in the arms of former cop and new fiance, Joshua Hall, and continues to co-parent her two children with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, who recently became a married man once again when he said 'I do' to Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young.
