South Boston bagel shop opening second location in Beacon Hill

A local bagel business that got its start as a popup and currently has a brick-and-mortar location in South Boston will be expanding to a second storefront.
According to an Instagram post, Brick Street Bagels is planning to open in the city’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, with the post saying the following:
Planting our flag in beautiful BH. Opening Fall ’26….So pumped to be offering seating in this space!….Well aware of the proximity to MGH and going to have early shop opening hours to give the early shift nurses and hospital staff a place to grab breakfast before heading in…..This is a big step for Brick Street. Moving into a new neighborhood on a pricey street with a very expensive ground-up build ahead of us. We hope you can help spread the word and come support once doors open. It is a total honor to be joining the Charles st community and Beacon Hill neighborhood.
Once it opens, the new location of Brick Street Bagels (which started out in a South End apartment back in 2022) will join another on W Broadway in Southie, while its bagels can also be found at the Clarendon Street outlet of the South End Buttery.
The address for the upcoming Brick Street Bagels in Beacon Hill is 144 Charles Street, Boston, MA, 02114. The website for the business is at https://www.brickstreetbagels.org/
