USA Olympic hero Apolo Ohno has sued his ex-girlfriend for refusing to return his cherished personal property, according to a report. 

Ohno, the USA's most-decorated Winter Olympian of all time, is taking his former partner, Anna Pham, to court, alleging that she is holding on to his treasured Olympic memorabilia. 

The former speed skater, 44, filed a lawsuit claiming that Pham is still in possession of hundreds of items of personal and business property, according to TMZ. 

Among the items are said to be Olympic race and training footage, documentary footage held for future commercial sale, an unpublished book manuscript and personal Olympic photographs.

She also reportedly has hold of studio and audio-production equipment, photographic and video equipment, electronics, apparel, a firearm and computer hard drives containing irreplaceable content. 

Ohno, who previously won Dancing With The Stars in 2007 with partner Julianne Hough, claims the couple split in 2023 but remained on good terms throughout 2024, despite their separation. 

He allegedly sent a message to Pham via Instagram last October, requesting she return his property. 

However, Ohno claims that Pham only released Olympic medals she had in her possession and did not return any other items from his Olympic memorabilia collection.

Pham claimed to TMZ that Ohno had been willing to allow her to return the items on her own terms and reportedly said that he would pay for it. 

The Daily Mail has not received a response to its request for comment from Pham.  

The former Olympian is said to be seeking $385,000 in damages in his lawsuit.

Ohno remains the USA's most decorated Winter Olympian in history - winning eight medals across the 2002 games in Salt Lake City, the 2006 games in Turin, and the 2010 games in Vancouver.

He won gold in the 1500m skate in 2002 and gold in the 500m in 2006. He's also got two silver medals and four bronze medals to his name.

He has since gone on to enjoy a successful career in media, business and motivational speaking.

He is also still closely linked to the Games, serving as a member of the LA28 Athletes’ Commission ahead of the Summer Olympics returning to the US in two years' time.
