Jasmine Mitchell was crowned the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025.

The 23-year-old amateur baker impressed the judges throughout the series and earned the title of Star Baker five times.

On Tuesday night's final, she triumphed over fellow finalists Aaron Mountford-Myles, 38, and Tom Arden, 31.

Speaking after her win, she said: ‘Oh my goodness I am just so overjoyed!

'When I was in the middle of exams and trying to bake while I was trying to learn, it’s been so much.

‘But I have done it and I am just so unbelievably happy and to have done it with such an awesome group of people.’

Discussing her journey, Prue Leith said: ‘The thing about Jasmine is that she has been steady all the way through, almost unheard of to be so consistent and so good.

'She is an extraordinary girl.’

Paul Hollywood added: ‘There was not one week we thought she could go this week… not once.

‘And that’s unusual, and to win five Star Bakers and then win overall that’s never happened before.

'She has done an incredible job all the way through the Bake Off this year.

‘She is a worthy winner and she is the best one we have seen for quite a while actually.’

During the final, Paul and Prue welcomed the three remaining bakers into the iconic tent for one last round of challenges.

For the signature challenge, the finalists were tasked with making 12 iced buns, six of which were required to have a different flavour from the other six.

Tom created piña colada–flavoured finger buns and hot dog–style buns.

However, Paul slammed his bake, calling the bread 'awful', to which Tom admitted he had accidentally used citric acid instead of salt.

Aaron made rhubarb and pear, and rhubarb and strawberry buns, but was told his bread was 'too hard'.

Jasmine made apricot and strawberry buns, as well as orange and white chocolate ones.

Prue gushed that they tasted 'absolutely delicious'.

For the technical challenge, they had to create a tower of exquisite madeleines filled with lemon curd and decorated with white chocolate.

Every baker forgot about the pink ribbons they were supposed to wrap around their bakes, and their lack of attention was noticed by Prue and Paul.

Jasmine came in third place after failing to stack 32 madeleines on the tower, and several were undercooked.

Despite misunderstanding the ombré requirement, Tom claimed first place

For the showstopper, the finalists were tasked with a 1.2 metre-long, 'elegant and exquisite' table cake, with 'flavour and decoration a must'

After much deliberation, Jasmine was crowned the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025

Meanwhile, Aaron took second after his madeleines were filled with too much lemon curd.

Despite misunderstanding the ombré requirement, Tom claimed first place.

For the showstopper, the finalists were tasked with a 1.2 metre-long, 'elegant and exquisite' table cake, with 'flavour and decoration a must'.

Prue congratulated Jasmine on her beautiful cake, while Paul said it was 'wonderful'.

When it came to Aaron's showstopper, Prue noted it 'wasn't perfect', while Paul admitted he was 'struggling to find the flavour'.

For Tom's showstopper, Prue said it looked 'absolutely stunning', while Paul described it as 'impeccable'.

After much deliberation, Jasmine was crowned the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025.

Despite ten weeks of intense competition, the winner of the series does not receive a cash prize.

They instead receive the more low-key winnings of flowers and a cake stand.
