Lindsie Chrisley has been arrested for suspicion of DUI in Georgia.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office confirmed with The Daily Mail that Lindsie, 36, has been charged with driving under the influence, attempting to elude, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding following an arrest on Sunday morning.

People reports that Chrisley was arrested on Sunday at around 10:25 p.m. She was booked in county jail and released at approximately 4:30am the following day after paying bond. 

The bond amount was $5961, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office confirmed with The Daily Mail. 

Lindsie told TMZ she was pulled over after she attempted to avoid a collision with another car that had nearly struck an animal. 

'I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was,' she told the website.

The Chrisley Knows Best alum told the site she was immediately released following her booking and intends on fighting the charge. 

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Lindsie for comment but have not yet heard back.  

The arrest comes weeks after her then-boyfriend David Landsman was arrested for aggravated assault-strangulation and battery last month during an alleged dispute with Lindsie. 

Both Lindsie and David accused one another of violence during the April incident, with the reality star alleging she had been strangled by him multiple times during the dispute, according to E!. 

They both requested a restraining order against one another, with Lindsie alleging his behavior had grown menacing and intimidating toward her after their split, she said in her court filing requesting the restraining order. 

They have since reached a 'mutual no contact order' agreement which requires them both to remain 500 yards away from one another, their residences and workplace, according to TMZ. 

Lindsie has been estranged from her convicted felon reality star dad Todd and step-mom Julie for years.

Landsman took to his Instagram in March to share a photo of him holding Chrisley's hand with what looked like an engagement ring on her finger as he trolled her estranged father.

He wrote: '@toddchrisley may I have your daughter's hand in marriage?,' however, TMZ revealed that Landsman and Chrisley were not engaged. They have been romantically linked since last year.

In March 2025, Lindsie gave an update about the state of her relationship with her parents as they served their prison sentences at the time for fraud and tax evasion.

Speaking about the tense topic on the latest episode of her podcast, Southern Tea, she revealed that she hasn't been to see her father Todd for over a year. 

Todd and Julie were released two months after her revelation following a full pardon from President Donald Trump.

At the time, Lindsie said she had never been to visit her step-mom Julie in the more than two years that the reality star has been in prison.

She candidly stated: 'The last time I visited my dad probably was … was it the beginning of last year? I can’t even honestly remember.

Lindsie continued: '[Nanny Faye and I] used to go together [to see my dad] when they first went [to prison].

Todd and his wife Julie were found guilty of committing tax evasion and bank fraud totaling $30 million in June 2022.

Todd was originally given a 12-year sentence while Julie received a seven-year sentence before being pardoned.

Lindsie admitted while they were still imprisoned: 'I have not seen my dad in quite some time and I have had no contact. And that’s all I’m going to say for that.'

Todd welcomed Lindsie and her brother, Kyle, during his first marriage to Teresa Terry and Julie adopted both of them when she and Todd wed.

The two children were notably around during the early days of Chrisley Knows Best, but it seems Lindsie's relationship with them has been strained ever since Todd and Julie's prison sentence.
