This is the shocking moment men brawled with what appears to be a machete on a busy London road after the armed man attempted to use his car as a battering ram.

A crowd of pedestrians filmed as a white car manoeuvred in Edgware Road, with two men following its movements.

The driver then appears to try and use the vehicle with an eagle sticker as a battering ram to knock over the men - unsuccessfully.

The pedestrians then attack the car, trying to get to the driver, in footage claimed to be filmed this afternoon which hears screams in the background.

One man jabs an indistinguishable object through the open window.

When onlookers try to intervene, they are shoved back violently. 

One person appears to try and get the men away from the car but the driver then opens the door, with footage showing him then opening the boot.

He appears to retrieve a weapon and proceeds to attack the men gathered around his car.

The brawl then moves away from the vehicle as the armed man takes huge swings at other pedestrians. 

Social media users reacted with shock, with one commenting: 'This is too much. The streets are not safe. Total lawlessness.'
