Chattanooga Bar Association members met at Partnership for Families, Children and Adults to fill camp backpacks for children.

The week of overnight camp in July serves for kids seven to 17 impacted by trauma due to violence. During the week, kids enjoy rock climbing, swimming and all of the regular camp activities at Camp Ocoee.

"Partnership supplies adult mentors, therapists and curriculum designed to bring healing to young lives," officials said. "Studies show this week of Camp HOPE can provide the therapeutic benefit of six months of traditional counseling in building resilience, confidence and hope for a brighter future."
