Artist, writer, and nature-based mindfulness guide N’nako Kandé has officially launched the Silent Hour App, a digital sanctuary designed to "help users slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the grounding power of nature - no matter where they are."
Officials said, "Silent Hour began as a personal healing practice in the forests of Chattanooga, especially on the ancestral land now known as Audubon Acres, where Kandé spent years walking, writing and rebuilding her inner rhythm.
While the practice was born there, Silent Hour has since expanded far beyond the trails - evolving into a book, a community offering and now a mobile app designed to bring nature-based mindfulness to anyone, anywhere."
“I wanted to create a safe space,” says Ms. Kandé. “A place where people could return to themselves - whether they’re in the woods, in a city or in their own living room.”
The Silent Hour App features three immersive modes - Forest, Urban and Indoors - allowing users to choose the environment that best supports their emotional and mental state. The app also includes a breathwork playlist designed to help users self-regulate at any time of day, along with additional customizable features that let each person shape their Silent Hour experience in a way that feels personal and supportive.
"Silent Hour continues to grow as a movement, with guided hikes, storytelling and community offerings that invite people to reconnect with nature and with themselves," officials said.
