Provincial police continue to investigate after the body of a woman was found at a residence in Augusta Township near Prescott Wednesday afternoon.

“Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat,” OPP said in a release.

The body was discovered at a residence on County Road 26.

“Residents of Augusta Township can expect to see an increased police presence as officers continue the investigation,” police said.
